The Global Methodist Church exists to make followers of Jesus Christ. The church uses the authority of holy scripture as found in the Bible to provide a path for followers to bring Jesus Christ into their lives. Like all of us, John and Charles Wesley found it difficult to bring Jesus into their hearts. Their upbringing by Susanah Wesley, praying daily with the Holy Club at Oxford, and God’s intervention on Aldersgate Street, ultimately led to a life that many people say actually saved England. Thomas Coke and Francis Asbury as followers of Wesley had a similar impact on the Christian foundation that was developed in 18th century America.
